Maintenance Backlog Planner

How to use it

  1. Enter five numbers: your ready backlog hours, total open backlog, number of technicians, hours per technician each week, and the percent of their time available for backlog.
  2. Select Calculate to see your weekly capacity and how many weeks of work you are carrying.
  3. Switch to Full to build a work-item register, rank what to tackle first, and track the backlog trend over time.
  4. Use Export or Print / Save as PDF to share the summary, or Discuss with NAES to talk it through.

What it gives you

  • Your true weekly capacity for backlog work.
  • How many weeks of ready and total backlog you are carrying.
  • A practical, prioritized sequence of what to tackle first.
  • A fast read on whether your team can keep up, without building a spreadsheet.
